I encountered the same issue on both Samsung and Huawei(all are Android 2.2/2.3 OS). The setup is well and initial sync OK. However, after couple of hours, the client failed to reach server with the error like "server xxx Port 443 connection error occurred" and the mobile displayed the notification which prompted "bad user name/password". When event occurred, I confirmed the user name/password OK and mobile can access Traveler server via browser normally.
I know it would be one connectivity issue but it rarely happed on Nokia Symbian system. It only happened on Android system(tested 3 headsets already with same result).
Moreover, the simply way to fix the issue is restart the mobile one time then all mails income soon.
The case is also always happened when switch WIFI to 3G mobile network(eg. leave home or office and lost WiFi network, mobile can access Internet via 3G mobile signal but Traveler client failed to reach server). I also tried to disable WiFi on mobile in the whole day, the case would happen two or three times one day.
